In the twenty-sixth year

On the thirteenth day of the ninth month

I saw The Great Ancient of Days

I beheld His Glory

He sat on The Great Wheel of Life

His Glory, invisible, yet so potent

So manifest, so domineering

So unmistakable

And as I looked

The wheel turned

Her rims were a flame of fire

Sparks of flame flashing continually

Fire represents Covenant

The rims spun so rapidly

So endlessly

The wheel spun forward

In reverence of Him

Whose Glory rested above it

In reverence of His Spirit

At His silent command

I watched with my eyes closed

As the wheel spun

From one generation to the next

The wheel turned

Transposing His Faithfulness

From one man to his seed

As I watched

The wheel continued to spin

Men declared Him as King of Zion

From one generation to the next

The One, The Only One

As I watched

The wheel spun

Restoring one heart to the next

Healing one life to the next

Igniting one flame to the next

Men declared Him as Holy

He showed Himself mighty

To all who called upon His Name

In each and every generation

He made them flames of fire

One man after another

I saw Him

Burying His men of old, of ancient

Appearing to their offspring

Calling to mind His Promise

He wrote the books of history

He stood at the entrance of delivery rooms

Ushering in a new generation

He stood at the threshold of redemptive cycles

He stood at the beginning of seasons

And at their end

The wheel did not stop spinning

He sat at His Potter's Wheel

One generation after another

He did not stop working

The wheel did not stop spinning

Molding men, remolding men

One generation to the next

As I looked, I beheld

The Great Ancient of Days.
